Job description - Laser Material Handler

Full Time - Swing Shift (4:15pm to 2:45am) - $17-$20 DOE, Overtime Available, Swing Shift Differential Paid

Material Handler: Load, unload, label, sort, and move steel materials and parts within a manufacturing production setting. Compile and execute each job to GK Machine's quality standards while reaching delivery date goals per schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and load production machines.
• De-burr, label, and stage parts accordingly.
• Ensure proper tagging of finished parts and jobs for correct routing.
• Communicate any updates, problems, and the target time to your supervisor and fellow team members on the next shift.
• Stage raw materials at each machine for the day's production.
• Empty scrap and garbage containers as necessary.
• Check-in, verify and put away raw material.
• Ensure remnant rack is organized and maintained.
• Ensure dunnage is organized and maintained.
• Signoff all routers, checklist, and other required paperwork.
• Move completed jobs to the next operation using the designated staging area.
• Operate Forklift in a safe manner.
