Ryan Bennett, from Lake Labish Farms in Brooks, Oregon, takes us on a tour of his new GK Machine 3-Point Sprayer. Ryan looked online for over a year to try to find a solution to his problem - trying to find a high-capacity affordable spray system that would be light enough to float over the lake bottom soil he grows his onions in.
GK Machine designed a dual-tank (400 gal) 3-point spray system to attach to his John Deere tractor and swapped his wheels with tracks which disperse the weight evenly over soft soil. The 60-foot stainless boom system can break-away 7.5 feet on each side, allowing for a spray width as narrow as 45 feet. In addition, the GPS controlled spray system offers multiple automated shut-off sections, preventing over-spray and product waste.
GK Machine is thrilled to hear this project exceeded our customer's expectations, and we now have an incredible 3-Point Spray System to offer other customers who face similar challenges in the field.
