Job description - Parts Counter Sales / Customer Service

Full Time ~ Day Shift ~ Salary – Depending on Experience, 2 years experience preferred ~ Ag/Farm Experience a Plus

Join a great manufacturer as a member of the Parts Counter Sales Team. You will perform various customer service duties related to part sales, manufacturing services, and repairs to equipment. You will assist customers with selecting the appropriate part(s) for their Ag or Industrial equipment. Selling and up-selling existing GK Machine services (laser, paint, machining, etc.), as well as handling customers' incoming equipment repairs. Knowledge or background in mechanical, hydraulics, and Ag equipment is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in person, via telephone or email.
• Assist customers in choosing the appropriate parts, service and repairs.
• Accurately record and follow-up on all sales and service transactions.
• Assist in keeping parts department regularly stocked, clean and well merchandised.
• Supply service technicians with parts as requested.
• Manage inventory and stock levels as to keep supply in stock and ready to sell.
