Job description - Sandblasting Tech

Full Time - Day Shift - Overtime Available - Salary: $18-21 per hour, depending on experience

Assist department by sanding, masking, cleaning, and loading parts onto racks in preparation for sandblasting before paint or powder coating operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare sandblasting, paint, or powder coating parts by sanding, masking and cleaning.
• Properly load parts on racks to achieve desired finishing results. Correctly identify and tag parts.
• Ensure the flow of Work Orders is maintained as directed by following schedule and proper staging of jobs.
• Complete assigned work within a given time frame and according to written specifications.
• Assist in maintenance, cleaning, and repair of equipment as assigned.
• Keep all work areas, including the staging area, clean and organized, emptying scrap as necessary

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferred: at least six months of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Sandblasting experience is a plus.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Overtime available
