Job description - Material Handler - General Labor Position

Full Time – Swing Shift - Overtime Available - starting wage $16 - training provided, Shift Differential Paid

As part of our manufacturing team, you will perform hands-on physical labor and equipment operations to build metal parts, fill material supply orders, prepare materials for forming, and perform laser and plasma cutting operations. Maintain an efficient and timely workflow to meet customer demand and on-time delivery schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks, including lifting and moving of materials, loading and unloading of steel materials and products.
• Load and unload machines, move metal material, and prepare for creating accurate parts.
• Operate equipment to move, load, and unload material in a safe and effective manner.
• Use power tools, including benders, cutting wheels, grinders, and torch.
• Ensure proper documentation and tagging of finished parts and jobs for correct routing through to the next process.
• Keep area organized, maintain inventory levels, and prepare for next-day material orders.
• Assist in maintenance, cleaning, and repair of equipment as assigned.
