Job description - Industrial Painter

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces using airless paint spraying techniques. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare part surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
• Properly load parts and pieces on racks to achieve quality paint results
• Ensure the manufacturing flow of Work Orders by following the production schedule
• Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint or coatings to surfaces
• Ensure proper coverage and finish quality of painted surfaces
• Adjust sprayer valves and nozzles to regulate the width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting techniques
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role
• Knowledge of different painting techniques, including airless paint spraying
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate paint mixing
• Ability to operate power tools and equipment related to painting
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to handle materials safely and operate a crane for lifting heavy objects
