Job Summary:

As a Repair Technician at GK Machine Inc., you will be integral to maintaining the functionality and performance of specialized equipment. Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of agricultural and industrial equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure machinery's optimal performance.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify solutions for complex repair challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely during repair processes.
• Assist in the fabrication of custom parts when necessary for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in all repair activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanic or repair technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong automotive diagnostics skills with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, parts, and their applications is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely.
• Hands-on experience with welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
