Job description - Powder Coat Technician

Full Time - Day Shift - Overtime Available - 1+ year experience preferred

As a Powder Coat Technician, you will apply protective and decorative coatings to various metal surfaces. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role is vital in ensuring high-quality finishes through your mechanical knowledge and expertise in industrial painting. You will utilize your skills in materials handling, fabrication, and precision measuring instruments to achieve optimal results. Additionally, your experience with forklifts and lean manufacturing principles will enhance efficiency in our manufacturing process. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prep product for coating based on instruction sheets.
• Selects powder according to company color scheme and specifications.
• Preps and loads powder accurately.
• Loads equipment or racks of parts into the powder coating room.
• Adjusts sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray according to the knowledge of powder coating techniques.
• Spray surfaces using the proper surface finishing techniques..
• Loads equipment or racks of parts into the oven.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
