Job Description - Quality Assurance

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team near Donald Oregon. In this critical role, you will ensure that our fabricated products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional equipment and machinery to our clients. As a Quality Assurance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings to understand and uphold product quality expectations.

• Ensure products meet GK quality standards by inspecting, testing, or measuring materials and finished products.

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the calibration of all test equipment, fixtures, critical equipment, and instrumentation.

• Maintain, review, and implement the ISO Quality System to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

• Inspect and approve products routed to shipping from the staging area to ensure quality standards are met.

• Maintain and oversee floor-level inspection procedures and processes to ensure consistent quality control.

• Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess product specifications.
• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Document inspection results and prepare reports for management review.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, manufacturing experience, a passion for quality assurance, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. While this role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, you will act as a coach and mentor, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Familiarity with software and coordinate measuring machines.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
